Grand Theft Auto V: The Manual
Grand Theft Auto V: The Manual review
Grand Theft Auto V is a well-known action-adventure video game. It is now available for such platforms as PlayStation 3 and 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
It is a single-player game, and the story is set in San Andreas that was based in Southern California. It is focused on the three criminals who try to commit different heists while being under the pressure from a government agency. The game features an open-world design so that the non-linear gameplay enables players to freely explore the countryside and the fictional city of Los Santos that was based on the real city of Los Angeles. GTA V was widely anticipated and, of course, extensively marketed.
As a result, the game broke the sales records of the gaming industry and managed to become the fastest-selling entertainment product ever, making $800 million on its first day after the release and a whole $1 billion in the first three days. The game received positive critical reviews from all over the world. However, some aspects of the game, namely the depiction of violence and women, appeared to be somewhat controversial.
From the player’s point of view, the game might seem a bit heavy. To be able to play Grand Theft Auto V, you need to have a powerful graphics card and a lot of free memory. It may take as much as 18-20 hours to fully download and install the game. But it is definitely worth it. The graphics and voice acting are great. You can play from a third-person and from a first-person perspective. There are various single-player missions, which you have to complete in order to progress through the main story. Outside of these missions, you are absolutely free to roam and explore the open world.
Throughout the game, players have plenty of activities to do in the mentioned open world. They have a very diverse selection of different mods available for single-player. You can steal and customize vehicles to navigate the world, engage in melee attacks, use firearms and explosives to fight your villains. In GTA V, you can run, jump, or swim to travel within the world. The driving controls are nice, although you may need to practice a little before flying the helicopters and jets without crashing into everything around.
All in all, Grand Theft Auto V is a real must-have for the true GTA fans. It is a lot better and more interesting than the previous versions. And with the multiplayer mode, you will definitely have a lot of fun with your friends.
